---免透露密碼，共同管理Gmail信件
多人共管一個Gmail帳戶，如不希望密碼給別人知道，可透過授權方式，讓他人共同管理信件內容。
--登入要共用的Gmail信箱後，點選右上方的 【 設定 】 圖示，並從下拉選單中選取【設定】。
--到 【 帳戶 】 標籤，找 【 授權這些使用者存取我的帳戶 】 後，點擊 【 新增其他帳戶 】 連結。
--在跳出的 【 授予您帳戶的存取權 】 頁面中央欄位中輸入共同管理者的Gmail帳號，按 【 下一步 】 。
--按 【 傳送電子郵件以授予存取權〕完成授權動作。
--授予者會收到確認信，當接受授權，會在 【 授權這些使用者存取我的帳戶 】 選項中出現授予者帳號 。

1.伺服器資訊
內送郵件伺服器 (POP3 : 995): pop.gmail.com
外寄郵件伺服器 (SMTP : 465): smtp.gmail.com
登入資訊
使用者名稱: 輸入您的Gmail帳號，如 user@gmail.com
密碼: 輸入您的 Gmail 密碼
2.「外寄伺服器」頁籤，將「我的外寄伺服器(SMTP)需要驗證(O)」打勾。
3.「進階」頁籤，將「內送伺服器(POP3)」及「外寄伺服器(SMTP)」 的
「此伺服器需要加密連線(SSL)」兩項打勾
4. 再將外寄伺服器的連接埠號碼改成「465」, 按「確定」
OutLook 2007:
「進階」頁籤
- - 將「外寄伺服器 (SMTP)」, 連接埠號碼改成「587」
- - Use the following type of encrypted connection: 選 TLS 在下拉選項
- - 其餘同
ps. 如有習慣將「在伺服器上保留一份郵件複本」打勾,
收信保留伺服器上的信件時，其實是不需要的，
因為使用 POP3收Gmail信件時，不會直接將信件收下，如要將信件直接收下，需到Gmail的網頁上去做設定。

Thunderbird :
Incoming Server(995): pop.gmail.com
Outgoing Server(xxx): smtp.gmail.com
On the Server Settings tab in the Account Settings window, do the following:
- Change the Port: to '995'
- Under User secure connection:, select SSL
- Verify that the box next to Leave messages on server is unchecked, then click OK.
另Thunderbird 3.0.1 與 google apps(it2tpe.co.cc) emal : 例 admin@it2tpe.co.cc 測試為:
- 使用者名稱 : admin@it2tpe.co.cc
- (993 - SSL/TSL) imap.googlemail.com
- (465 - SSL/TSL) smtp.googlemail.com
- google apps 使用者的email 設定開 imap & pop3
另Thunderbird 3.0.1 自動捉 gmail(非 google apps email) 為:
- 使用者名稱 : admin@gmail.com
- (993 - SSL/TSL) imap.googlemail.com
- (465 - SSL/TSL) smtp.googlemail.com
Window Live(HotMail)設定:
- POP 伺服器：pop3.live.com (通訊埠：995)
- POP SSL 要求：是
- 使用者名稱：你的Windows Live ID (例如：admin@hotmail.com)
- SMTP 伺服器：smtp.live.com (通訊埠：25)
- 需要驗證碼嗎？：需要。(跟你的POP 使用之用戶名與密碼相同)
- 需要TLS/SSL嗎？：要
